Where it is

Select the address chip in the app's header. It copies the full address to your clipboard. The chip shows a shortened form; the full address is 64 bytes in base58, longer than a Solana address, and is not a wallet address: tokens sent to it from a wallet would be lost.

What it reveals

Your shielded address contains your account's public identity and your viewing key. Anyone who has it can send you notes and nothing else. It does not reveal your balance, your notes or your wallet address, and it cannot be used to spend.

You may share it publicly. Unlike a wallet address, it is not a window into your account.

When a payment arrives

The app syncs every leaf added to the tree and tries to decrypt each one with your viewing key. Notes addressed to you appear as soon as the sending transaction is indexed, usually within a few seconds of confirmation. Choose refresh on the asset card to sync on demand.
